General Overview
Our house is a 4 bedroom family home with lots of living space on a large 9 acre block which is mostly native forest and is adjacent to World Heritage National Park. We have incredible bird life and occasional wallabies on the front lawn but we are still close enough to commute to Parramatta or Sydney by train or car. The train station is 10 minutes walk away and trains travel up the Mountain or into Sydney CBD via Western Sydney. Next door is The Oaks Trail amazing for walks but most famous among Mountain bike riders. We have lots of outdoor space, a plan for extensive permaculture gardens and a huge shed suitable for artists to use.
Guest Access
2 floors with additional split level and underhouse parking/ laundry with even more stairs. Ground floor bedrooms (2) and bathroom are reasonably accessble with 3 stairs at entry with handrail and another low stair at front door however many other access points have stairs. Internal stairs have double baby gate for those with small children.
Notes
There is lots of wildlife. Living in the Australian bush as we do there are all sorts of creatures both friendly and those best left to themselves as well as plenty of insects. You will see amazing birds but might also encounter a wallaby, echidna, possum or even a snake or spider - this is their home too and they are legally protected. Most of the time they hide away and you wont see them even if you are out in the garden but you can always call an approved local snake catcher if they venture too close to the home.
