General Overview
Our home is a large 4 bedroom house located in a village in Hampshire, south coast of England. There are many countryside walks or cycle rides straight from the front door. There are 3 pubs with great food options within a mile walk and many more to take in on longer walks. The historic city of Portsmouth and the Mary Rose are a 25 minute drive away. Chichester, Winchester, Porchester Castle, Southwick and all their history are easy to reach by car within a 20-45 minute drive. The river Hamble can be reached within 20 mins to paddle board. There are many sailing clubs within easy reach. Pebble beaches are an easy drive or slightly further takes you to the sand of West Wittering or the Bournmouth area. Numerous golf courses in the area, 3 within 3 miles. A 20 min drive takes you to the London train line - just over an hour straight into Waterloo.
The Space
The house itself backs onto the South Downs National Park. It has 4 bedrooms - a super kingsize, kingsize and two double beds. There is also a sofa bed in the air conditioned garden room. The master bedroom has the largest bed, en-suite shower room and a Juliet balcony with views over an arable field. The garden has two large seating areas and a hot tub. The garden room provides a quiet space (separate from the house) with a sofa bed, TV and games console. We have a well behaved cat who comes and goes as she pleases through a cat flap. She is fed by an automatic feeder but would appreciate daily wet food by visitors. We can provide 4 large adult size bikes for exploring.

We are a family of four who love adventures, exploring new locations and taking on challenges. Our son is 18 now so won’t necessarily come with us on our travels - although he claims he doesn’t want to miss out! We are all respectful and would love to get to know potential exchangers prior to exchange.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
