General Overview

It’s a 3000 sq ft home on a 0.4 acre lot. There is a large chefs kitchen with an Aga stove, a stunning sun room, play room for the kids, large TV for movie night and beautiful dining room. We also have a large back garden as well as a Grillkota-a Scandinavian BBQ hut. 2 bedrooms are available. Sleeps 4 - 3 beds Bedroom 1 - king bed (English King, American Queen) Bedroom 2 - 2 single beds Baby cot available upon request. One full bath and laundry room. It’s a traditional home on a quiet street, beautiful, warm, and cozy. We are in a small village with everything you'd need within a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Coffee shop, restaurants, pub, post office, butcher, pharmacy, parks, and grocery stores. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the park. And there is a wooded forest just steps from our door. We are in a village called Verwood, 20 minutes from Bournemouth in Southern England. 20 minutes to the ocean with endless coastline activities and beaches. 10 minutes to the New Forest where you can experience the livestock that roam free…donkeys are my favourite. If you like cycling you can do that too in the New Forest. 25 min to Paultons Park & Peppa Pig World. Search for fossils on the Jurassic Coast. 45 min to Stonehenge. There is SOOOO much to do and see around here including...The Tank Museum, Monkey World, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Train, and Ocean Sauna Dips.

Guest Access

Front door Access granted with lockbox. There are 2 steps up to front door, 1 small step in the home. No stairs on mail level. No access to upstairs.

Our home is our sanctuary. We take pride in our home and truly enjoy it. We hope you can too. We do not have Globes or Plutos to give. We are looking for simultaneous exchanges. And unfortunately we can not accommodate any pets as we have allergies. We have travelled using AirBnB for many many years, and value the idea of treating someone’s home like my own. I’m proud to say I’ve always been invited back to every location and told how clean and tidy we were! We are a home ed family and we don’t have travel restrictions based on the school timetable. There may be a time when we would like to travel with another home ed family of 4 as it’s easier to entertain and educate the children. But we can discuss if this were to be an option with an exchange. Also….At the very back of our property we do have an annex where Nana lives with her small American cocker spaniel dog named Holly. Our dogs, Madison and Trinity also small American cocker spaniel dogs and will be staying with her while we travel. All three dogs are hypoallergenic and do not shed. Nana keeps to herself. Trinity has severe anxiety therefore we can not accommodate other dogs on the property.

Getting to my home

You can get here by car or by bus. Ideally to do all the things in the area, you’d want a car! We do have a large driveway so lots of room to park your car.

Nearest airport

London England airports from international locations. Although you can fly into Bournmouth or Southampton depending on where you are flying in from.

Getting Around

Best way is by car, but you can also take a bus or walk in our village.
