General Overview
Our home is filled with light and a wonderful sense of space, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Outside, there’s a charming garden with an outdoor table, awning and seating — perfect for enjoying sunny days — plus a pizza oven for memorable homemade pizzas on warm summer evenings.
Check out my availability - we’ve got some holidays booked this year when our home will be available.
Inside, you’ll find generous living areas, including a large open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, as well as a separate lounge where you can retreat and unwind. The home features a spacious family bathroom and four well-appointed bedrooms. Two bedrooms are ideal for children, each with single loft beds and the option to add an extra mattress to create bunk beds. There are also two spacious double bedrooms for adults, one of which features a king-size bed for extra comfort.
Altogether, it’s a bright, welcoming home designed for both family time and peaceful relaxation.
The Space
Useful spaces include the utility room with washer, dryer and hanging space. Several coffee machine options from barista style down to espresso and filter. Google home controlled lighting. Dining table seats 10, sofas in main lounge seat 8. Soon to have a sauna and cold plunge installed in the garden by mid February. Two showers, one bath. Secure bike storage and use of two adult, two children’s bikes and scooters. Loads of free parking. Use of Nissan Qashqai, child seats if needed, roof box and camping gear available.

Helen
We are a family of four with two children aged six and four. Helen is a doctor and Frank works in tech. Zoe aged six loves drawing and Bill aged four loves reading. As a family we love exploring new areas, sight-seeking, culture and eating out.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
