General Overview
Our home was built in 1882 by the architect DX Murphy for the CEO of the Kentucky Wagon Company. We have owned it since 1997 and have fully renovated it while keeping the historic details.
Over 6000 sq ft inside and another 1000 sq ft deck and 350 sq. ft stone patio. We have a hot tub for 7 and a sauna for 6 on the deck. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with gas grill and a fire pit.
There are 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms as well as a huge eat kitchen with table for 8 and a lounge area. There is also a formal dining room, a formal living room, a conservatory, a home gym and a large family room.

Retired couple with Stunning Historic District Italianate Mansion.
Our three children are now all grown up and we have recently retired. We have rented our home for the Kentucky Derby, but are now ready to explore home exchanges as well.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
