General Overview

Our home is a cozy family house in the heart of nature, in a quiet village. It offers peace, privacy, fresh air, and beautiful views. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy walks, and slow down from busy city life.

The Space

The house is spread over two levels. On the ground floor there is a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a separate room with a washing machine that also has a single bed (90×200 cm). There is also an entrance hall / winter garden, which is the main entrance to the house. Up a few steps, the upper floor offers an open-plan living space, a large bedroom with a balcony and a king-size bed (180×200 cm), a second bedroom with a double bed (140×200 cm), and a small children’s room with a raised single bed (90×200 cm). There is also a separate toilet on this floor.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire house. Please note that the house has a few stairs between the floors.

Getting to my home

Transport options to our home in Ľubietová: The closest and most convenient airport is Bratislava. Other possible airports are Vienna, Budapest, or Košice, all reachable by car or public transport. There is no train connection to our village, but buses do run. We have a bus stop about 5 minutes on foot from the house, however it is via a steep forest path. It is very beautiful, but with suitcases it’s better to take the longer road for cars, which is still quiet with very little traffic. This walk takes about 10–15 minutes uphill. The nearest larger city is Banská Bystrica, about 25 minutes by car. A taxi from Banská Bystrica usually costs around 20–30 €, or you can come by bus in approximately 45 minutes. We live in the village of Ľubietová, more precisely in a small area above the village, surrounded by nature. There are only about 50 houses, so it is very quiet, peaceful, and green, with nature all around.

Bratislava, Košice, Vienna, Budapest (Brno, Katowice, Krakow)

Getting Around

The walk to the nearest shop takes about 20 minutes. The way there is downhill, and the way back is uphill
