General Overview
My home is a large, very quiet two-bedroom apartment located in Valley Village/Studio City. It's walking distance to a lovely cafe, a Starbucks, several food options, a grocery store, a gas station, and a park! The neighborhood is suburban with the convenience of the city. It’s right off the 101 highway so it’s super easy to get to. I have lived here for 13 years and I love it so much.
What's around?
The apartment is roughly 10 minutes from Universal Studios, 15 minutes from Hollywood, Warner Brothers Studios, Paramount Studios, and BUR airport. There's also a beautiful local hike in the Hollywood Hills 7 minutes away that I frequently go to. (Better than Runyan Canyon in my opinion and more likely to see celebrities ;))
My Fur Baby
My cat, Lady, may be super shy and you may not see her much, or she’ll decide you’re one of the chosen ones and she’ll engage in endless conversation with you. Lol. She usually sleeps out in the living room and is a very chill cat. She has a feeder and a fountain, so all she needs is a litter box scoop here and there. For extended stays, refilling the feeder and fountain would be needed. Overall, she's very low maintenance.
The Space
There's 1 master bedroom with a full bathroom, and then another bedroom with a full bathroom right across from it. The living area is very spacious, and the kitchen is fully stocked, because I love cooking. There's also a game closet, full of board games and puzzles. :)
*There is a washer/dryer on the floor. It is pay per wash and operates through an app.
Guest Access
The apartment is on the top floor (3rd) and its right off the elevator. There's also stairs right next to the apartment as well.
Notes
Street parking is free, just be mindful of street cleaning! (There are some streets that don't have street cleaning a block away, though.)

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is quaint. There's two blocks of apartments, and the rest of the area is single-family homes.
Getting to my home
It's LA, so everything is accessible by car. We have lots of Ubers and Lyfts, but I suggest renting a car for your stay.
If you're coming from LAX and don't have a car, I do have a local hack. Take the Van Nuys Flyaway Shuttle to the Van Nuys airport and then uber from there. MUCH cheaper!

Getting Around
A car is essential in LA. However, there is a lot to walk to - a grocery store, Starbucks, a cafe, a gas station, and several other food and coffee options!

Hi! I’m originally from NJ but I’ve been living in LA for 15 years. I write and make films, and I’m also starting a teaching career. I love the mountains, bodies of water, and new cultures! I live by the rule "leave a place better than you found it," so I will make sure to take care of your home! I'm also happy to care for cats and small pets. :)
