Hospitality Description: The house has 2 bedrooms and one is 100% designated as a guest room. We love having guests, whether we are there or not. We travel a lot, so it has lots of availability and family is in the area ready to help welcome you. I un-clicked the children categories in "House Rules" below. This is not because they are not welcome, but because the house is not configured for them (steep stairs, small and breakable objects). Children are certainly welcome if parents are prepared.

General Overview

This 1906 Victorian 2-story house welcomes you. The house is 0.4 miles (500m) away from the main village street. You will stay in the guest room with full access to the main rooms of the house. The main level has the living room, dining room, office/study, kitchen and winterized porch and a half bath. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub and included shower. The basement has a washer and dryer, which we will also offer to our guests. The outside features a large front porch perfect for sitting with an afternoon tea and watching many neighbors walking dogs or the light traffic go by. You can easily walk to the village main street. There is a driveway with space for you to park off-street, and an open grassy lawn.

Elisa

We are a couple in our late 50s and late 60s. Elisa is a professor of Machine Learning. Pete is a retired home contractor. We have traveled through (and sometimes worked in) much of the world and don't want to stop. We have a nice home and will respect your home similarly.
