Surrounded by trees and only a 10-minute walk from a white, sandy, swimmable beach, our home is a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature. Inverloch is where Melbournians come to spend their holidays.
The Space
The heart of our home is the open living/dining/kitchen area with its high ceilings, wooden floorboards and a fireplace for extra coziness in winter.
There's a master bedroom with a comfortable double bed and built-in robes, an upstairs bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite, and a cheerful children's bedroom with bunk beds and a piano.
The house is set back from the street and accessible via a private driveway. There are two private parking spaces.
In the back, our garden borders the council reserve, which is home to giant eucalypts full of bird life, including kookaburras, honeyeaters, and wrens. We've even had our resident koala, Coco, visit the garden a couple of times!
On calm nights, you can hear the sound of the nearby surf.

Neighbourhood
The coastline is spectacular, and almost deserted during the winter months. If you've ever wanted to be the only person on a kilometers-long beach: look no further. There are both sandy beaches and beaches with incredible rock formations, surf beaches, dangerous rips, and the shallow, family-friendly inlet.
Nature-lovers will enjoy a variety of beautiful walking tracks (check komoot!), and Wilson's Prom, with Australia's most beautiful beach, is only a good hour's drive away.
Getting to my home
Public transport is close to non-existent down here, so you'll need to have a car to make the most of the experience.
Nearest airport
Melbourne International Airport is roughly a two-hour drive away.
Getting Around
Local shops, a supermarket, cafes, the pub and the library are 1.5 km away, with a bike and walking path leading there along the beach.
There are regular farmer's and community markets, both in Inverloch itself, and in the surrounding area.
