General Overview

Newly built townhouse in a quiet area close to nature, but also close to Roskilde and Copenhagen. Perfect for families, since we have two kids! Just moved in this summer, we are a bit more settled now. Will upload new pictures soon.

The Space

The heart of the house is the kitchen/living room downstairs. Big dining table, where you can eat your dinner or the kids can sit and play while you cook. Two high chairs for kids. We also have a pizza oven you can use! Watch a movie at the couch, or open the terace doors and set up a little pool for the kids or have a cold drink during the summer. Upstairs you will find our spacious bedroom with a 180*200 bed, our office with two 80*200 beds (or a 160*200), our girls bedroom with two 70*160 beds and their playroom, where we can put up extra beds if needed. You can also sleep downstairs at the couch (140*200). Bathrooms both downstairs and upstairs, one of them with washing machine and dryer. Table and chairs outside and lots of toys for kids both inside and outside.

Neighbourhood

Nærheden is a new neighborhood in Hedehusene. At the end of our street is a small lake, great for walks or even some fishing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for kids to play together out on the streets. The local supermarket is 5 minutes walk away. Train station, restaurants, library and bakery 15 minutes walk. Very friendly and international neighbours! We will let them know you are here, if you need any help. Lots of kids playing at the street every day while the grown-ups talk and drink coffee. Also close to Hedeland, where you can watch opera during the summer and go skiing during wintertime (when there's snow).

Getting to my home

Our home is 30 minutes from Copenhagen by car. Lots of free parking spots. If you take the train from Copenhagen Central Station, you will be at Hedehusene station in just 18 minutes. The city Roskilde is 7 minutes away by train. We are open for exchanging car keys and you can of course borrow our christania bike and get around like a true Dane!
