Hospitality Description: The lower level of my home can be used as a private studio apartment. There is a shared entrance and laundry facilities with a privacy latch on the entrance to the studio on the lower floor. In a hospitality arrangement I would stay in the self contained upper level, with seperate kitchette, bedrooms, living space and bathroom. The car and car space would not be available for guest in this arrangement. Street car parking is available.

General Overview

Spacious, private, inviting. My home is nestled into the side of a hill with a lovely outlook over Spring Creek wetlands and farm paddocks. The Kiama town centre is only one and a half kilometres away, and you can wander through the wetlands to Bombo Beach in just 15 minutes. The train station is 2 kilometres away. You can catch the train north to Sydney (a bit over 2 hours) or south to Gerringong or Berry.

The Space

The upper level has 2 bedrooms, a large spacious bathroom and separate toilet. The main bedroom and living area open on to the balcony with views to ocean glimpses, farmland and the wetlands.. The lower level has a lounge room, sitting room (with a sofa bed), dining area, full kitchen, balcony with BBQ outdoor sitting/dining and stairs to lower leafy courtyard. A single garage, laundry, shower room and toilet are off the entrance hall at mid level. The lower level is available as a hosted studio apartment with use of the shower room and toilet on the entrance level. Alternatively both levels could be made available to a family or group of up to six people.

Guest Access

From Garage and entrance, 9 stairs to top level, and 9 stairs to lower level.

Neighbourhood

The town centre has a major supermarket, banks, post office, several bars and two hotels. There are many cafes and restaurants to choose from. The town is famous for the blowhole and spectacular beaches. The Minnamurra Falls is a 15 minute drive away as is the Minnamurra River. The 20km coastal walk is spectacular and a must for walkers

Getting to my home

A 1 and 1/2 hour car trip from Sydney airport (follow Google maps). Or catch the train to Wolli Creek, change here for the South Coast line to Kiama. The train trip is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. From Kiama Train Station is a 3 minute cab or Uber ride to my little slice of heaven.

Nearest airport

Shellharbour airport - 18 minute car trip. Sydney- roughly 2 hours by train or 90 minutes by car.

Getting Around

Guest can make use of my fully electric car or eBike. Its a 15-20 minute walk to the town centre and 15 minutes to Bombo Beach.
