We have a great family-friendly and dog-friendly  home in central Colorado Springs. A sunny yard, a shaded front porch and back patio, an electric piano, lots of board games, a garage, a sauna, and a fenced yard with a trampoline. Our home is less than a mile from the entrance to Palmer Park, home to miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as beautiful views of the city and the mountains.

The Space

This is a multi-level home. The main level is open and has the kitchen, eating area, living room area, and a big kitchen bar-countertop. The upper level has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a linen closet. The lower level has the fireplace room with a television and board games, as well as a bedroom with a desk area, a bathroom, and laundry area. The lowest level is a basement with a utility room, a lovely 2 person sauna, and recreation room with an office area.

Guest Access

This house has stairs to enter the main level and stairs going up and down each level. It is not wheelchair friendly, unfortunately.

Notes

We have a two car garage. The yard is fenced in and has a trampoline. We will welome friendly and well-behaved pets.

Neighbourhood

We live on a small, low-traffic street that is right off a busy street. We are on the edge of a walking friendly neighborhood. We walk our dogs daily by exiting the backyard into the alley and heading into the neighborhood. The neighborhood has several great routes with little traffic and good sidewalks, with lots of big beautiful trees. We are 0.94 miles from the entrance to Palmer Park, which is a large city park that has over 25 miles/40 kilometers of trails for hiking and mountain biking. It also has beautiful views of the city and two off-leash dog areas- a fenced-in area and an open, casual hiking areas where dogs can be off-leash. The mountain biking/hiking/trail running options are fantastic, ranging from beginner friendly to quite technical. There is also a small neighborhood park and playground, Audubon Park, walking distance from our home.

Getting to my home

We are about 20-25 minutes from the Colorado Springs airport, about 4.5 miles from downtown Colorado Springs, and about 75 minutes south of Denver International Airport. We're a few miles east of I-25 in central Colorado Springs.

Getting Around

We are unfortunately not walking distance to any stores or restaurants, but we are a quick drive or bike ride from a coffee shop (Kawa Coffee), and about a 10 - 15 minute drive to a variety of areas for grocery shopping, restaurants, and downtown.
