Our large quintessential English country house is 500 years old in places with an inglenook fireplace, beautiful English country style gardens and large living areas. The whole property has been tastefully modernised with a large kitchen/conservatory at the heart of the house. The house is located in a quaint English country village, just 20 min drive from the Cotswolds. Conveniently located 40 mins from Oxford city centre, 1 hour from bath and 20 minutes from the nearest train station taking you directly into London in 40mins. Heathrow airport is 1 hour away. Country walks for miles from the doorstep, a local shop and cafe just a 3 min walk down the road and local large supermarkets a 10 minute drive.

The Space

Kitchen and conservatory all flowing into one is the heart of the house. Very cosy living room with inglenook fireplace and original bread oven (non-working). Oak beamed ceilings throughout. Upstairs you will find 4 large bedrooms, two with en-suite and a large family bathroom. On the top floor is another bedroom and study. The gardens are English country garden style with potting shed, greenhouse and summer house.

A large duck pond, numerous walks through endless rolling fields and countryside, the ridgeway a long stretch of walking path from which to view for miles. The white horse and wayland smithy are 10mins drive, which are national trust locations. A local shop and cafe a 3 min walk away, numerous country pubs 5-10mins drive.
