I live in a 4 star resort called The Cove in West Kelowna, British Columbia. It is right on Lake OKanagan with SO many things to do! There is a gorgeous Spa on site and the pools are open although restricted times during the pandemic (Noon to 6 pm) There is a kids slide, a snack shack, family BBQ and rentable cabanas BUT the beach is just a few steps away if you prefer the lake. Oh and you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, seadoos and motor boats from the on site dock.
The space
My condo has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living room couch also pulls out into a queen bed. My view is of Mount Boucherie and the Okanagan hills. So many hiking and biking trails and Golf Courses (6 minutes away) PLUS all the big box stores a few minutes away; Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Winners, HomeSense and lots of restaurants and other amenities. For a night out on the town, downtown Kelowna is only a 20 minute drive - very cool waterfront and TONS of lively activities - outdoor cafes and bars which are very careful about the health and safety of the patrons.
Guest access
The resort is on 4 floors ( mine, on the 2nd) with elevators and complete wheel chair accessibility. Lots of underground parking or above ground parking. I have a very comfortable deck with a new BBQ for grilling.
Notes
The restaurant on site is closed due to Covid but shopping is nearby and I have a full kitchen so you can cook every night. Oh and did I mention WINERIES??!! Mission Hill, Quails Gate, Mt. Boucherie, Frind Winery, Indigenous winery, The Hatch... simply too many to mention. Wine Tours are a BIG thing here - and the Wine Trail is just a few minutes away! You can also explore the wineries of Naramata, Penticton, Oliver, Summerland, Osoyoos - it’s awesome.

Neighbourhood
The Cove is nestled in a very quiet, almost rural neighborhood on Lake OKanagan. There are horses and foals in the pastures - future polo ponies AND the Gellatly Nut Farm is right next door adjoining the property - yup an actual working nut farm - it’s gorgeous and welcomes you to walk through and enjoy the solitude under the canopy of mature trees ( steps from the lake of course)
Getting around
The shops are less than a 6 or 7 minute drive away. There are no coffee shops that you can stroll to BUT there is the most beautiful promenade around the lake that is beautifully maintained with historical signs throughout and tables and chairs to rest and drink in the view.

I like to travel to downtown Vancouver for a couple of weeks at a time. I am also interested in the South Pacific and Europe. I live in a beautiful Resort in West Kelowna in British Columbia right in the heart of wine country.
