Neighbourhood

Friendly, quiet street with long-term neighbours. Native birds galore. Cockatoos, galahs, rosellas, magpies, fairy wrens, bower birds, peewees, currawongs, wattle birds make daily appearances in our yard. Magpies bring their babies every year. Walking distance to Pine Island for a swim and nature walk. Kangaroos in the reserve are a five-minute walk away. Guaranteed koala sightings at Tidbinbilla Reserve, 25-minute drive away. 20 minute drive to all major attractions: National Gallery of Australia, Portrait Gallery, Old and new Parliament House, Questacon, High Court of Australia, Floriade.

Nearest airport

Canberra Airport is 20 minutes away. Ubers and Taxis are easy to secure. International destinations: You can now travel globally from Canberra Airport with direct flights to: -Bali with Virgin Australia -Nadi, Fiji with Fiji Airways. From Nadi, enjoy connections to major international destinations including: -Dallas -San Francisco -Los Angeles -Vancouver -Singapore -Hong Kong -Tokyo You can also fly daily to Doha via Melbourne with Qatar Airways. Getting Around

You're welcome to use our vintage Volvo 240 station wagon. We will discuss use separately. Bus route is one street away. Local shopping centre is a flat 1km walk. Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, K-Mart, Target etc. All the info you need on local groceries, cafes and attractions is in our house manual.
