Our home has spectacular views of the Tauranga Harbour from all the rooms of the house.  It is cozy and warm with bench seats to watch the world go by at 3 of the picture windows or wake up and watch the boats in the harbour from bed. Plenty of books in my bookshelf if you like to read.   We love the easy walking access to the boardwalks along the harbour and the local parks, shops, cafes & supermarket.  It is a quick drive (15 mins) to the surf beach, shops, cafes and pilot bay at Mount Maunganui which we spend much time at as well.
Enjoy a drink on the deck enjoying the stars and the port lights at night.

The Space

There are 3 bedrooms (3 queen beds ).  Our main has a walk in wardrobe). There is a full bathroom and 2 toilets and a separate laundry room.
We have a fluffy black cat who would need some smooches and to be fed - but is very self contained. If you are away from our home for a night or two we have neighbours who can feed him.

Guest Access

There are two floors - with access only to the top floor.
Access is up a steep driveway with parking for cars here.  A further set of stairs to reach top floor once inside the apartment everything is the same level.
Not suitable for those not able to manage stairs.

Notes

This is our main home.  We would need our pussycat Charlie taken care of.  This is just feeding he comes and goes as he pleases!!

Beautiful harbour walks, supermarket, restaurant and cafe (5 mins walk) and children’s parks.  Take a dolphin harbour cruise or bike/walk the many boardwalks.

Kayaks available to kayak the harbour.

Other attractions within driving distance are Rotorua - 1 hr  (mountain biking, thermal area, many tourist attractions) 
Hobbiton - 1 hr drive
Coromandel- 1.5 hrs to Whangamata
 Mount Maunganui surf beach is a- 10 mins ( cafes, vibing shops, swimming, surfing, and walking).
There is wind surfing hire 2/3 mins away available at the local park

Closest airport is Tauranga Airport 40 min flight from Auckland international airport( or 2.5 hr drive)
Our place is 7 mins drive from Tauranga airport.

Working couple (teacher and quantity surveyor) with two adult children (both enjoying their best lives) -we enjoy the outdoors, chilling, eating good food and exploring new places.
Now as we are getting older looking forward to getting away and travelling a lot more often. Mostly we travel by ourselves but sometimes our kids and their partners join us.
