Unser Zuhause liegt in einem ruhigen Rondell, in dem Kinder auf der Straße spielen können. Wir haben sehr nette Nachbarn, denen man aufgrund der Gärten nicht allzu oft begegnet.
If you like hiking, we have great (family-friendly) tours like the "Hiwwel Route"
https://www.rheinhessen.de/en/hills-route-hiwwel-route taking you through the 1000 hills of our region.
If you are more water-seeking: Rheinhessen is named after the river Rhine, which has a length of about 90 kilometers. The river creates lakes at some of its arms, also here in Ingelheim, we have surveilled areas to go swimming and additional natural lakes not attached to the Rhine.
If you like to cycle, you'll find great options here:
https://www.rheinhessen.de/en/top-cycle-routes
If you like to spend a calm afternoon in a park with some water for the kids to play I'd recommend the Volkspark in Mainz:
https://www.mainz.de/freizeit-und-sport/im-gruenen/volkspark.php or, newly built and absolutely amazing the water playground in Bingen:
https://www.bingen.de/leben/park-am-maeuseturm/gruenes-klassenzimmer/rheinlandschaften
You can go for several sightseeing trips by boat or ship and visit castles and fortresses:
https://www.bingen-ruedesheimer.de/linienfahrten/linie/burgenfahrt
And of course Wiesbaden, Mainz and Frankfurt invite you for culture and shopping trips.
And even Ingelheim has a newly built concert hall, called kING with a changing program.
We have great swimming pools in Ingelheim, with sauna and indoors:

Ingelheim is a historical city where the imperator Karl der Große said it was his favorite place to live, around 800 A.D. Many historic walls and findings are displayed, the ancient Aula Regia where he ruled was reconstructed and archeologists even found and showcase a historic gold medall. The area is beautifully reconstructed and makes a nice full day trip for history lovers while adding fun with a water playground for travelers with kids:

(btw: we got married within these historic stones :)
