Hospitality Description: We are a warm and welcoming family who loves connecting with travelers. We are happy to host guests in our cozy home and share local tips, favorite restaurants, and family-friendly things to do in the Phoenix area. We can provide a comfortable private bedroom and bathroom, as well as another bathroom and bedroom if it is a full swap. There will be access to the kitchen, laundry, and living spaces, and plenty of toys and books and a crib if you are traveling with children. We love making people feel at home and creating an easy, relaxed stay.

General Overview

Our home is simple but comfortable and perfectly located for exploring the West Valley. We’re close to the freeway, just a few minutes from the Cardinals Stadium, Westgate Entertainment District, Luke Air Force Base and Camelback Ranch ballpark. We have 2 bedrooms available, a cozy back patio for relaxing, and a washer and dryer for convenience. It’s a great home base for families or travelers who want easy access to downtown Phoenix, spring training games, and nearby attractions.

The Space

Our home is cozy, lived in, and full of warmth. It is designed for families, especially those traveling with little ones. Inside you will find a comfortable living area with plenty of space to play, read, or relax. There are lots of toys, books, and a soft crash pad that kids love. We also have a cuddle box for sensory comfort and calm playtime moments. The large bedroom includes a crib, making it easy for families with infants or toddlers. The house features 2 bedrooms, a living room with a TV and comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fenced backyard. It is not fancy, but it is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up for real family living.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire home including the living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry area, and backyard patio. The house is single level with no stairs, making it ideal for children and guests who prefer easy mobility. Parking is available right outside the home.

Notes

This is a family home that is comfortable, simple, and filled with love. You will find everything from children’s books and toys to a crash pad and sensory items that make it especially great for young kids. We just ask that guests treat our space with care and understanding that this is a lived in home, not a showroom.

Neighbourhood

We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood near Westgate Entertainment District, State Farm Stadium, and Camelback Ranch Ballpark, perfect for families and sports fans alike. There are parks, grocery stores, and restaurants just minutes away. The area is peaceful, safe, and convenient to both downtown Phoenix and Glendale.

Getting to my home

We are about 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix and 25 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport. The house is close to 2 major freeways so getting around the Valley is quick and easy by car.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, approximately 25 minutes away. Glendale Municipal Airport is 5 minutes from our home.

Getting Around

Having a car is the most convenient way to get around. We are within a short drive of shops, restaurants, and family attractions. Public transportation and rideshare services are also available nearby.

The De Leon’s

We are a warm and caring family of 3 from sunny Arizona. Amanda is originally from Hawai’i and works as a habilitation and respite provider with an Arizona fingerprint clearance card and current background check. Mauricio is a disabled veteran and musician who also works in quality control. Our curious and silly 3 year old son Leo loves playing outside, exploring nature, and anything trains! Recently, our journeys have taken us to Hawai’i and Japan, and Leo has proven to be a wonderful little traveler. We are world travelers who enjoy discovering new cultures through food, photography, and adventure. We hope to visit every Disney park around the world. We are very respectful and tidy and always treat every home we stay in with care and gratitude. Aloha!
