General Overview

Welcome to our luxury wilderness lodge! You will experience the Alaska you’ve been dreaming of in our wilderness lodge! Our slice of heaven is nestled in the mountains of interior Alaska with gorgeous views out every window. Interior Alaska sees warmer summers and cooler winters than the coast. Spring is a magical time of bursting leaves and wildflowers and brings Dall sheep lambs to the mountains surrounding the lodge, so close you can see them from the front deck. Summers can be 80 degrees with most days in the 60’s - 70’s ( June -Aug). The Lodge is close to lakes and rivers for freshwater fishing and boating. We will point you to the spots the locals go. Fall is time for harvesting the abundant berries at the Lodge, beautiful hikes in the fall colors, and for bird hunting as well as some of the best big game hunting in Alaska. Bears, moose, Dall sheep and caribou are hunted right in our area. Heat up chilly fall nights with the wood fired sauna, and view the Aurora borealis from the darkest night skies you’ve ever seen. Winters begin in October, and bring a magic of their own. With snow on the ground October through April, interior Alaska is a playground for snowmobiling and cross country skiing on trails right on the property, and ice fishing nearby. No matter what season you visit it’s magical in the stunning Alaska Range mountains! The 3000 sq feet luxury log cabin was built as a way to connect with the nature and find a peace like none you’ve felt before. It’s off the grid, but fully automated with in floor heating and a battery bank so you’d never know it. A huge heated greenhouse will offer its fresh produce of the season to guests. Surrounded by wildlife mounts in the great room, you’ll feel truly Alaskan, whether you are cuddled by the wood burning fire on a snowy evening or taking in the midnight sun on a glorious summer night. Our cabin is on 11 acres of private land, surrounded by millions of acres of wilderness. We are ideally located within day trip distance from Wrangel-St.Elias National Park, Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge, Chicken goldmining town, and innumerable outdoor adventures for fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, bird watching, photography, aurora viewing and wildlife watching. The nearest town, Tok, is 30 minutes away, and has all of the conveniences you need including stores, gift shops, restaurants, a clinic and auto repair shops, outdoor stores, and flight seeing. The closest main airport is Fairbanks, 4 hours away, and the Anchorage airport is 5.5 hours away. There is also plenty to explore without leaving the cabin. We have miles of trails for hiking and skiing, one paved trail for biking, a pond for paddle boarding or canoeing, a sauna, and a creek kids love to play in. We are 30 minutes from town on a paved road, yet worlds away. The main lodge has a large kitchen and great room with a cozy woodstove. It has 3 bedrooms plus a sofa bed, 3 full baths, and sleeps 10. There are an additional 5 cabins on the property, sleeping 23 total guests.
