Our home is just south of Munich’s Theresienwiese, right around the corner from the Oktoberfest grounds. It's a lively, central neighborhood with a mix of old industrial buildings, creative studios, and cozy cafés. It’s close to the Isar River and within walking distance (ca. 20min) of the city center, yet feels very local and relaxed.
You’ll find small restaurants, cafés, wine bars, and markets nearby, plus great public transport connections (U3/U6). The area has a friendly, urban vibe — think Munich’s version of a mini Meatpacking District, but with better pretzels.
