Our home is ideal for families who want to discover Paris and Versailles while returning to a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. You’ll enjoy: Fresh air and nature at your doorstep. Easy public transport and parking (a rare luxury near Paris!). Great local bakery and markets within walking distance. Farm de Gally within 30 min by public transport. Lots of kids activities in area. A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Neighbourhood

🌳 The Neighbourhood L’Étang-la-Ville is a quiet, leafy village surrounded by forest, yet exceptionally well connected. We have a village market twice a week - on Wednesday and Saturdays. Also there is a bakery, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a doctors office, other shops 15 min walking.

Getting to my home

Direct train (Line L) to Paris Saint-Lazare in about 45 minutes. Tram T13 offers quick access to Versailles Palace and Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a lovely historic town with shops, cafés, and a large park. Only 2 hours’ drive from the beaches of Deauville and Trouville, for a perfect day by the sea.

English/German/Russian family with a 4.5 y.o. son (and a baby on the way in Jan 2026) living in a green and international Paris suburb - L'Étang-la-Ville. We are only ready to do exchanges with non-smokers please. We love cats and can take care of a cat, we love dogs too but it might be more complicated if we need to schedule walks at certain times so we prefer not to. We are already found a lovely exchanges in Brussels and in Hambourg on that platform. We are looking for an exchange in August, preferably at the seaside. And we are always eager to do London / UK swaps as we have family there. We also have very good airbnb rating as guests :) Unfortunately, we wont be able to travel outside Europe in 2026, so we are holding our plans for USA/Canada/Australia for future.
