Neighbourhood
🌳 The Neighbourhood
L’Étang-la-Ville is a quiet, leafy village surrounded by forest, yet exceptionally well connected.
We have a village market twice a week - on Wednesday and Saturdays.
Also there is a bakery, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a doctors office, other shops 15 min walking.
Getting to my home
Direct train (Line L) to Paris Saint-Lazare in about 45 minutes.
Tram T13 offers quick access to Versailles Palace and Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a lovely historic town with shops, cafés, and a large park.
Only 2 hours’ drive from the beaches of Deauville and Trouville, for a perfect day by the sea.

English/German/Russian family with a 4.5 y.o. son (and a baby on the way in Jan 2026) living in a green and international Paris suburb - L'Étang-la-Ville.
We are only ready to do exchanges with non-smokers please.
We love cats and can take care of a cat, we love dogs too but it might be more complicated if we need to schedule walks at certain times so we prefer not to.
We are already found a lovely exchanges in Brussels and in Hambourg on that platform. Now are looking for an exchange in August in Iceland.
And we are always eager to do London / UK swaps as we have family there.
We also have very good airbnb rating as guests :)
Unfortunately, we wont be able to travel outside Europe in 2026, so we are holding our plans for USA/Canada/Australia for future.
"We are very interested to travel within France locally"
