General Overview

Our house, called Maison Veuve Crahay, is a magnificent Art Nouveau residence located in the heart of Liège. Built in 1909 by the architect Antoine Pliers for the widow Crahay, it is now listed in the inventory of Walloon cultural heritage. Behind its historic façade, you will find all the modern comforts for a pleasant stay. On the ground floor, there is a living room and a separate kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, espresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine. On the first floor, a bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom. On the second floor is another bedroom with a double bed. Our house is located right in the city center. Everything is within walking distance: the shopping streets, the lively cafes, the typical restaurants where you can taste the famous waffles or meatballs à la liégeoise, as well as the local markets such as La Batte, the largest market in Belgium, which is held along the Meuse every Sunday. Liège is a dynamic city, rich in culture and heritage: museums, galleries, theatres... It is also a friendly student city, renowned for its festive atmosphere. The region is also full of beautiful discoveries: the nearby Ardennes for nature and hiking enthusiasts, charming small towns such as Huy, Spa or Durbuy, and even Maastricht or Aachen (Aachen), located less than an hour's drive away. Liège is easily accessible by train (Liège-Guillemins station) and has plenty of public transport (tram and bus).
