Neighbourhood
Nestled in the heart of Stockholm, Vasastan feels like stepping into a timeless storybook. Elegant turn-of-the-century façades line quiet, tree-framed streets where cozy cafés spill out onto cobblestone corners. Around Odenplan, life hums with the perfect balance of city energy and local charm — morning coffee aromas from small bakeries, evening laughter drifting from candle-lit restaurants, and the occasional sound of a distant church bell from Gustav Vasa Church.
Everything you need is just a short stroll away — green parks like Observatorielunden and Vasaparken where locals picnic in summer and skate in winter, and charming boutiques, wine bars, and bookstores that make every walk feel like a small adventure.
Getting to my home
Reaching my home couldn’t be easier — it’s right in the heart of Stockholm City. When you arrive at Arlanda Airport, you can simply take a taxi straight into town, or hop on the smooth Arlanda Express or commuter train that brings you directly to Odenplan Station. From there, it’s just a five-minute walk through charming city streets lined with cafés and classic Swedish architecture.

We’re a Swedish family who love to work hard, explore the world, and experience new places together. We’ve travelled quite a bit over the years, but this will be our first time doing a house exchange, something we think sounds like a wonderful way to share a piece of our safe haven with someone else’s.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
