We really enjoyed our stay in Catalina and families cabin, it is nested in a forest setting making you feel very private, this despite you have neighbors all around you. Inside you feel like your in a treehouse looking out the windows, the home is nicely decorated. You'll find everything you'd need to function in this home.
You are close to restaurants and shopping, very convenient.
So much to do around them, we focussed on the Prahova valley, this because we are visiting Bucharest next year and will explore this part then.
The Prahova valley is a great place for outdoor and indoor activities and we drove up there nearly every day. Castles, hikes, cable car and fascinating little villages. Lots of wildlife here as well, we saw 3 Foxes and tracks of bear and multiple species of deer. But be aware of the traffic on weekends.
We had a great time and highly recommend this spot and and a exchange with Catalina and family.
We had good communication between us.
