General Overview
I own a three-unit building. I live upstairs with my son. My father lives on the ground floor. We are located 5 minutes from the metro and to get to downtown Montreal, it is another 10 minutes.
The Space
The available loft is in the basement. The dimensions are about 45 square meters including 40 meters for the main room. It's very pretty and the ceiling is more than 2 meters high which gives an impression of grandeur despite being a basement. It's ideal for a couple but the space can accommodate a family of four with two young children.
Guest Access
There is a staircase of 5 steps to enter. Then there is a staircase of 13 steps down to the loft. The washer and dryer are on the ground floor and are shared between the three units.
Notes
It is possible to park on the street. You just have to pay attention to the signs that indicate when not to park because the city is cleaning the street or clearing the snow.

Neighbourhood
There are plenty of parks and play modules for children of all ages. The St. Lawrence River is a 12-minute walk away. It can be admired in all its splendour. There is also Wellington Street, a commercial artery that offers a significant amount of restaurants of all types and budgets. It was also named the coolest street in the world in 2022.
Getting to my home
The easiest way to get here is by metro. To get to the Dorval airport, you can take a taxi but there is also the option to take a bus-metro combination for $13 (a pass that can be used for 24 hours throughout the city's transportation system) per adult and children under 12 travel for free if accompanied by an adult. This journey takes about 40 minutes.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau Airport, which is located in Dorval, which is one of the boroughs of Montreal.
Getting Around
The metro is ideal for getting to all over the city. You can do everything on foot in the neighborhood and if you can't get there on foot or by metro, there are buses and taxis. You can also rent a car if you want to go a little further.

I am a single mother and I travel all over the world but especially in Italy. I am a language teacher. I am fluent in French, English and Spanish and I am almost fluent in Italian. I have a studio that can accommodate up to 4 people that I can exchange regularly and I have my own accommodation which is a very large two bedroom that can also accommodate 4 people.
