The open-concept living area is warm and inviting, furnished with designer pieces that feel both elegant and livable. The main bedroom includes a plush Westin Heavenly bed and blackout curtains for restful sleep. There are two spa-inspired bathrooms, a cozy family lounge room, and a speakeasy-style basement — perfect for movie nights or a quiet cocktail. Outside, you’ll find a private heated saltwater pool, built-in BBQ, and outdoor dining area surrounded by lush greenery — a tranquil oasis for relaxing under the California sun. We love our neighborhood for its small-town charm and walkability. You can stroll to Old Town Monrovia for local shops, cafes, and the lively Friday night street fair, or head to Pasadena to explore world-class museums like the Huntington Gardens and Norton Simon Museum, plus boutique shopping and dining in Old Pasadena. Our home is perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers who appreciate thoughtful design and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Space

Our home is a bright, inviting sanctuary designed with both comfort and style in mind. Thoughtfully renovated from top to bottom, it blends California ease with designer sophistication — every room feels both beautiful and livable. At the heart of the home is a galley kitchen with a Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and filtered water throughout. It opens onto a charming dining area and cozy living room with curated, high-end furniture and soft textures that invite you to unwind after a day exploring Los Angeles or Pasadena. The primary bedroom features a plush Westin Heavenly bed, blackout curtains, and a calming color palette for restful nights. The second bedroom is the dedicated kids’ room, complete with a sturdy bunk bed, plenty of toys and books, and warm natural light — perfect for little travelers. The third bedroom features a full-size bed and stylish, cozy décor, making it ideal for guests or older children. A separate office space includes a comfortable pull-out sofa, offering additional sleeping flexibility for guests or family members. There are three spa-inspired bathrooms — one with a rainfall shower and the other with a deep soaking tub — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Downstairs, you’ll find a hidden speakeasy-style basement originally built in 1895 with original floors and brick throughout. And in the garage adjacent to the pool is a converted family lounge room with arcade games and an 65” TV with surround sound, ideal for movie nights, board games, or an evening cocktail. Outside, the home opens onto a private backyard oasis featuring a heated saltwater pool, built-in BBQ, and outdoor dining area surrounded by lush greenery. Pets are on a case by case basis. No shoes are allowed in the house. Absolutely no smokers. No parties. Our housekeeper charges $200 for cleaning or you can clean yourself if you’d like.

Getting to my home

Our home is easy to find and conveniently located in Monrovia, nestled at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains — just east of Pasadena and about 25 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. If you’re driving, we’re a few minutes off the 210 Freeway (Huntington Drive exit), with simple, well-marked streets and ample free street parking in front of the house. We’ll provide detailed check-in instructions before your arrival, along with parking info and local tips to help you settle in easily.

Nearest airport

If you’re arriving by air, the closest airports are: • ✈️ Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) – approximately 35 minutes away • ✈️ Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – approximately 45–60 minutes away, depending on traffic. Both airports have major car rental options, or you can take a rideshare directly to our home. If you prefer public transportation, the Metro L Line (formerly Gold Line) runs from Union Station in downtown LA to Monrovia Station, which is less than a 10-minute drive from our house. From there, you can take a quick Uber or Lyft ride.

Getting Around

Monrovia is ideally located for exploring the best of Southern California. We’re just off the 210 Freeway, making it easy to reach everything from the mountains to the beach.
