The location is very family-friendly, backing onto peaceful parkland with duck ponds across the road, and it’s an easy walk to the shopping centre and bus stop. The house itself is clean, modern, and open plan with a large living area. It has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a fenced backyard that’s perfect for kids, complete with a trampoline and sandpit. It’s comfortable, easy living in a great spot.

The kitchen flows into the living space, making it easy to cook and keep an eye on kids at the same time. There are three comfortable bedrooms and one bathroom, ideal for a small family. Outside, the fenced backyard is a highlight - perfect for children, with a trampoline, sandpit, and plenty of grass to run around. The yard connects seamlessly to the parkland behind, which gives a sense of extra space and greenery. It’s a simple, welcoming home with everything you need for relaxed family living in one of the most stunning parts of Australia.

Neighbourhood

Cannonvale is located 10 minutes from Airlie Beach which is the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. Cannonvale has its own beach, boat ramp, cafes and multiple shopping centres. Our home is across the road from beautiful duck ponds and a playground which my son loves riding his bike around. It is a short walk (7 mins) to a shopping centre, there is a bus stop at the end of the road. It is a very quiet, family friendly area.

Getting to my home

You can either fly to Proserpine and grab the shuttle bus to my home, or fly to Hamilton Island and get the ferry across to the mainland. (recommended as you get to then see the beautiful islands on your way in)

Proserpine Airport (30 mins away) or Hamilton Island Airport.

Getting Around

There is a bus stop at the end of the road. Buses run every 20 mins and cost 50c.
