We had the opportunity to stay at Natalia’s fantastic house on the hillside overlooking the start of the beautiful harbour of Nice through a Globe exchange. Let’s start with the location — it is amazing!
The house is just a short walk (around 200 metres) down to the beach. Don’t be misled by PLU’s approximate map location of the property — it is not accurate. There is also a bus stop close by, making it easy to reach Nice city centre within just a few minutes.
We loved exploring the area on foot: walking up along the cape, across to Villefranche, or down to the harbour. The surroundings offer the perfect combination of nature, sea views, and easy access to the city.
The house is ideal for four people. The beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning is a real blessing on warm days, and the kitchen has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the garden patio and the amazing rooftop sun deck.
This is a place where you can enjoy peace and tranquillity while still being close to the energy and atmosphere of the city. The private, protected parking is a great bonus. It is also a perfect base for exploring not only the immediate surroundings but also the coastline and the mountains.
If you are arriving by plane and are considering whether you need to rent a car — just don’t! There is a tram connection from the airport to the harbour area, making it very easy to get around without a car.
Communication with Natalia was both informative and fun. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this wonderful home.
