Especially easy to do simultaneous swaps driving distance from here in LA, of course, or I can get a cheaper hotel elsewhere if you’re offering me a Globe or Pluto! Reach out! ⭐️

There is a gorgeous deaf Turkish Angora in my home and a Green-Cheeked Conure in an acrylic cage. Their presence in the home whilst you are there is negotiable, depending on the length of stay and my own travels during your stay.
The Space
The apartment is 1700sq feet. It’s 3br but one is locked off. You would have access to two large bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is a sectional sofa that can be used for sleeping spaces, a queen-sized air mattress in a laundry room cabinet, and a Nugget (foam cushions you can make into designs or sleep on if you’re smaller).
There are two large bathrooms, a full-sized laundry room, a very spacious living/dining room open to a large kitchen with a workspace. There is also a balcony overlooking a dog run. There is a lot of light in the bedrooms and the brighter of the two has velvet curtains. The floors are hardwood except the bedrooms and rugs in main spaces. This is a smoke-free home due to allergies.
Guest Access
Entry is electronic access code provided upon checkin date, changes with each stay. Apartment can be accessed by stair or elevator and parking garage (with assigned space) and community amenities are also coded entry.
Notes
There are many records and two record players. There are a ton of spices and the kitchen is fully stocked: air fryer, Nespresso machine, blender, food processor, baby food steamer, electric tea kettle….etc! I can leave an umbrella stroller for a child if needed. There are many books for all ages of life and Montessori toys for children. The coffee table opens up to play games on and is full of games inside. Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Roku are on the television.

Neighbourhood
The pier and beach is a 7m drive due to stoplights. The marina is right behind the home, complete with seals. Bookstore, restaurants, bars, cafes, Costco, several grocers markets, drugstores, makeup shops, salons all walkable. A hospital is a few blocks away as well as urgent care. Of course you can drive half an hour to Universal Studios, head to Disneyland in Anaheim, 15m to the Getty, go see The Grove, about half an hour to the Hollywood sign and the walk of stars, take a tour at Warner Brothers or another studio, go to a live taping of a show, do any number of water activities like paddle-boarding or sailing right here.
Getting to my home
12m drive from LAX to the apartment. Walking and biking trails are right out the door. Very easy to get to via any mode of transportation! There is an elevator and a stairwell in the garage. There is another stairwell right outside the apartment door to go right down to the street.
Nearest airport
LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) is about 12m drive along one main road.
Getting Around
Home is easily walkable to restaurants, bars, shops, grocers markets, drugstores, salons, cafes. Right next to bus line, walking and biking trails, scooter and e-bike rentals. Uber and Lyft is always available due to location. Designated parking space in gated garage if you have hired a car.

Living room sofa with museum lighting over paintings
Living room. Cabinets hold children books and Montessori music tools and puzzles. There is a record player that also does radio, cd, and cassette. I have a large record collection nearby.
Dining table between sofa and kitchen. There are 6 chairs throughout the home and a STOKKI highchair that grows with age.
Hall leading to F.R.I.E.N.D.S-themed bathroom on the right and a locked door on the left which is my bedroom.
The marina, there is a path behind the complex leading here and this photo was taken behind the library.
Kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Babyproofing on some cabinets. There’s an air fryer on a counter right now, toaster, Nespresso machine that is higher end one-Latissima Pro. The two cabinets left of the microwave are stocked fully with spices. The two on the right of the microwave are full of espresso pods, teas, protein powders, cider. Bottom right is Tupperware and bottom left is pots and pans.
This is the island in the kitchen. The pantry door you see is locked. There is one of the six dining chairs at the work space. Above it are many recipe books (some special to me) and German children’s books.
Hogwarts from Harry Potter in Universal Studios. The drive depends on traffic but generally 30-40m.
This bathroom is closest to the bedrooms and has a shower over tub with single sink and good cabinet space.
This bedroom has these two windows and a large picture window on the right, so great lighting in the day. The bed is a comfortable Purple brand mattress. There is the bookshelf you see on the left and a large one under the window on the right. The closet is locked but there is a long dresser across from the bed. There is also a child’s Pikler arch and a Nugget in the corner.
Floor to ceiling navy velvet curtains to keep light out for sleep. Please do not light any candles! We have sensitive fire alarms in this complex!
A nighttime shot of this room so you can compare. There is also a desk on the left that has a typewriter..and a painting by me haha
Catalina Island! You can take a ferry here from San Pedro or Long Beach. It’s a getaway for us in LA and it is so worth it. You can’t rent or take a car over there but you won’t need to. You can take Eco tours over there or simply walk or bike or bus around the resort-like village where Marilyn Monroe used to work. This place is gorgeous and a wonderful trip. It’s like a little Italian getaway right here.
Hallway leading to the velvet-curtained room. The purple/teal bedroom is just on the right.
Here is the purple/teal bedroom. This teal Nugget you see on the left is in the other bedroom in the corner right now. A large picture window and sliding mirror closet doors in this room with lots of coat hangers. Of course a bookshelf..I’m a bookworm..and medieval lamps. The side table on the left has Chicken Soup for the Soul books. The one on the right has different Bibles I’ve been given over my life, should that interest you. (This is the only religious reading material in the home) The bedroom floors are carpeted. I’ve also added a floor lamp in here.
Venice Beach Pier is bikeable from my place. There’s a bike path behind my complex. To walk would take a while. There’s a parking lot at the pier but you have to pay 5-10$ flat and there are metered spaces that you’d be lucky to get a space in.
This bathroom has his and her sinks with locked cabinets underneath. There is a vanity built in there on the right with an ottoman to sit on to do hair and makeup. See if you know all the references in this room!
This large soaking tub is in the F.R.I.E.N.D.S-themed bathroom by the living room.
