General Overview

Our home is spacious and cozy. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, living room, dining room, and upstairs laundry room with full washer and dryer. There is a large window downstairs that looks out over our backyard. The backyard features a native garden that my husband has carefully curated with plants native to our region as well as a vegetable garden and fruit trees. Our peach tree blooms in the summer and has the sweetest most delicious peaches I have ever tasted. We also have a neighborhood cat who enjoys spending time in our yard (but never enters the home which is good because I am allergic!) Our home is located in a great community with lots of young families with children. We are walking distance to a playground with a bicycle/running track. You would have access to any of our kids strollers/bikes/scooters if you would wish to use them. There is a craft coffee shop and delicious taco shop within walking distance as well. There are larger shopping areas in adjacent neighborhoods of Poway and Carmel Mountain Ranch. These shopping centers have many restaurants, larger grocery stores, and retail shops and can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car. There are also several farmer's markets nearby on the weekend. Our favorite one to visit is in Old Poway Park where there are historical buildings to explore, large trees to play under, playground equipment, and even a train ride. We love that the beach is accessible to our home. Torrey Pines State Beach is our closest beach and can be reached in 22 minutes by car. It has a large paid parking lot and street parking. Our favorite beach is Del Mar which is only 25 minutes away. The San Diego Zoo in Downtown San Diego is a 25 minute drive and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a 20 minute drive away. Sea World can be reached in 25 minutes by car as well. For a bigger adventure, our home is about 40 minutes drive to Legoland, California and about an hour and a half from Disneyland. The Temecula Wine Country can be reached in 45 minutes. The Escondido/San Pasqual wineries can be reached even easier within a 25 minute drive.
