General Overview

We have lived here for 28 years and over time have put our stamp on it . I do think it’s beautifully decorated without too much clutter. We have a summer house at the back with a log stove and from here you can watch deer come out into the field and lots of other wildlife. There are many golf courses including Renaissance and Archerfield within 15 minute drive and a fantastic selection of beaches in the county There’s also an open fire in the lounge which is perfect at Christmas time and a big airy family room/ kitchen with breakfast bar , a large table for Christmas dining and an Aga that’s perfect for the turkey. The bespoke kitchen was installed in 2023

Neighbourhood

We are in a row of eight cottages just along from a farm and within five minutes drive of Tesco and and the local town. Haddington. The town has a fantastic selection of food shops a suit including sushi shop a cheese shop beautiful deli, craft pie shop there are several pubs and a couple of nice restaurants too including one that’s in a lovely setting down by the river. There’s an excellent network of buses to take you into Edinburgh

Getting to my home

A car is Reccomended although you can walk into the local town which takes about 20 minutes and there is an excellent bus service from there.

Scotland - the home of golf We have a lovely cozy cottage with fireplace , Aga, beautiful views very peaceful but only 15 miles outside of Edinburgh which is famous for the Fringe Festival , New Year celebrations , Christmas markets and so much more. The beach and world class golf courses are just 15 minutes drive away
