General overview
This is our gem and hideaway from the world. The cottage is situated in Hälsingland about 350 km north of Stockholm. It´s our second home, but it is well equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. In the area there´s lots to do... or you could do nothing. It´s that type of place.
The space
In the main building (the old barn) there´s a bedroom with a doublebed. In the combined kitchen and livingroom there´s a sofabed, for two people.There´s also a guest house with a bunkbed and a sofa bed. In the glassroom there´s also a sofabed.
In one of the houses there´s a sauna.
The kitchen is fully equipped, except from a dishwasher. But doing the dishes in the outdoor kitchen is a pure joy.
In the mainbuilding there´s a bathroom with a shower and an incinirator toilet.
We also have a little boat and some fishing equipment. In summer time the temperature in the lake is somewhere around 20-25 degrees, depending on the weather. It´s lovely to take a morning dip or a cooling bath after sauna.

Neighbourhood
The cottage is very private, the nearest neighbor is 200 meters away, but there´s forrest between the houses.
Hälsingland is known for it´s great beauty and there´s plenty to see and do. In Järvsö, 30 minutes away by car, you can visit järvzoo, where you can experience the swedish fauna. Stenegården, an UNESCO worldheritage, is also worth a visit. There are also a lot of quaint cafés and restaurants. If you have an adventurous nerve, you can go downhill biking and in the area there´s also a zipline. In Delsbo you can bike on an old railroad.

Getting around
10 minutes away by car is Ljusdal, where you can find everything you need, several grocery stores, restaurants, etc.
