General Overview

The apartment is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, on the banks of the Seine, in a residential and very commercial area. It's in a 1920's building with a lot of character (the elevator dates from the time and works!) The place has been completely renovated, mixing the charm of an old apartment with a modern interior decoration. It's comfortable and convenient, with buses downstairs from the building, the metro and RER are a 5-minute walk away, and plenty of shops, market, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Little extra: Very rare in Paris, my apartment has a nice terrace of 25m2! The 72 bus at the bottom of my building is the most scenic bus in Paris (along the Seine) and takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Châtelet, Notre Dame, the Ile de la Cité, the Musée d'Orsay, the Hôtel de Ville, the Marais, the Bastille from where I live. Just enjoy the view from the Seine! The apartment is available from October to December 2025 for non-sim and non-reciprocal exchanges, ideally for about a week.

Guest Access

- Access is very secure. 2 doors with codes. The apartment is located on the first floor, accessible by stairs or by a very small and old elevator. - The apartment is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility (the elevator is very small and the stairs are circular). - Please note that there is only one key to the apartment.

Notes

- Very suitable for couples who want to have a nice, comfortable place, full of charm and comfort, to retreat to after visiting Paris. - It is also suitable for families with young children, as I have toys and books that can keep the little ones entertained! (Best suited for ages 2-6). - I don't have a cot or baby equipment. - I am very attached to the cleanliness of my apartment, and not being on site, I ask for 50 euros for Pluto stays and 70 euros for Globe stays for the cleaning of my apartment. Bed linen and towels will be provided and you can count on great cleanliness in the apartment! - No shoes in the apartment, no parties or parties, it's a quiet place! - As you are not on site, the key can only be handed over from 7:30 p.m. on weekday evening (to be discussed if arrival is scheduled for the weekend)

Neighbourhood

I live in a small street next to a large boulevard. I think I get the best of both worlds: the quietness of a street with a lot of traffic and the proximity to shops! Downstairs from my building: Monoprix supermarket, bakeries, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, there is a typical French open-air market 2 days a week. All of this is less than a 5 minute walk from my neighborhood.

Getting to my home

Easy access by bus 22 or 72, 42 or PC Metro 9 or 10 and RER C with a stop less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Nearest airport

Charles de Gaulle Airport or Orly Airport are about an hour away by public transport.

Getting Around

Very easy: the apartment is in the city of Paris, public transport, walking, cycling (can be rented by the day)...
