General Overview
Small town beach living:
Our beach house is 5 houses away from the white sands of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. We have EVERYTHING you and your family will need…a golf cart to explore, beach chairs, a paddle board, a pickleball net and set, towels, an overly stocked kitchen, a fully fenced back yard, and MUCH MUCH more. We do not rent this home out as it is our family’s getaway.
The Space
The living room is large enough to spread out, the downstairs has a king sized bed, a “Jack and Jill” bathroom, and a bunk room that has a refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette. The downstairs and upstairs are attached by two different set of outside stairs (the front stairs and stairs in the backyard). All doors have keyless locks which makes life so much easier.
Guest Access
The house is two stories. They are not connected via indoor stairs…only two sets of outdoor stairs.
The main living space has a primary bedroom with a California King Temperpedic bed and its own bathroom. The secondary bedroom has a queen bed and its private bathroom. Downstairs has a king bed, Jack and Jill bath and a bunk bed room.
Notes
Our town is very small. People call it Mayberry By the Sea because it really is a small, southern town on the beach. The beach itself is rarely crowded and many times I am the only person on the beach. It’s a sleepy town but nestled between Panama City Beach and Port Saint Joe. Panama City has EVERYTHING you need for entertainment…TopGolf, Pier Park, shopping, nightlife…Port St Joe has restaurants and a more chill atmosphere.

Neighbourhood
My neighborhood is not really a rental area. All of my neighbors are either full-time residents or part time (not short term renters). They are all so very sweet. I absolutely LOVE my “county” town by the ocean.

Getting Around
You will definitely need a car. We have some markets and liquor store a block away but to get to a real grocery store, you will need to travel about 10 minutes.
We have a golf cart that we like to bop around the neighborhood and for fun.
