General Overview
Built in the 1840s but renovated for modern conveniences, this house retains many original features and is within walking distance to the CBD and waterfront.
The Space
Spread over three levels, the upper level consists of three double bedrooms (two with amazing water views across to the Hobart waterfront precinct) bedrooms (one with an ensuite), an informal sitting room and a family bathroom. The middle level (accessed from Hampden Road) contains the piano room, study, lounge and dining room, kitchen and informal dining, a bathroom and a laundry.
One the lower level, you’ll find an informal seating area with a small kitchen, second laundry, bathroom and access to a formal, secure back yard with off street parking for three vehicles.

Neighbourhood
Five minute walk to the historic Battery Point, Hobart waterfront, St David's park and the MONA Ferry.
This area is where the action happens for the Hobart Summer Festival (late Dec/early Jan), Festival of Voices (July), Dark MoFo (June) and has fabulous restaurants, galleries and live theatre.
Ten-minute walk to Hobart CBD or Sandy Bay.
Getting to my home
Take the SkyBus from the airport to Double Tree Hotel and then it's a short walk to our house (approximately 5 minutes).
Taxis or Uber trips from the airport to our place take around 20 minutes (depending on the time of the day)
It's a 10-minute walk from the Hobart GPO to our house, via Davey Street.
Public buses will drop you off on either Sandy Bay Road or Davey Street. It's then a 3-minute walk from these bus stops to our house.
Nearest airport
Hobart International Airport is 18.3kms away and takes approximately 20 minutes.
Getting Around
Walking distance (15 minutes maximum) to the waterfront, clubs, pubs, live theatre and music, galleries, the CBD, Sandy Bay, Salamanca Markets and the MONA Ferry.
Close to public transport including buses, taxis and Uber drivers and public ferry to the Eastern Shore.
Also close to several rental car companies and tourist bus/coach collection stops.
