General Overview

I have just moved in this home in November 2025, so I haven’t finished decorating all the rooms yet. It is in a residential area, 20 minutes from our former capital Turku and 1 h 20 min from Helsinki. The house has five apartments and was built in 2023.

The Space

There are two bedrooms, kitchen and living area, utility room, bathroom, sauna and a covered terrace.

The main attraction in Paimio is the sanatorium designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto. https://paimiosanatorium.com/ Paimio is 20 minutes from Turku, 20 minutes from Salo and 1hour 20 minutes from Helsinki. Also the archipelago with its tens of thousands of islands can be reached easily.
