Neighbourhood
My house is in a very residential area. It is walking distance to a park, a public pool, tennis courts, library and hiking trails.
The street is a cul de sac and is very quiet with great neighbors and lots of parking. I often see deer, turkeys, raccoons and squirrels as well as lots of birds around. There are many places with live music 5 minute drive away from my house. Some feature surprisingly famous musicians who live in the area or just stop by for a neighborhood concert when they are around. Green Day famously randomly play at the Ivy Room, well known jazz musicians play at the Annex every Wednesday.
Nearest airport
Oakland is the nearest airport- 30 minutes driving, 45 by train + walking. SFO- 40 minutes driving; 1 hour by train + walking
Getting Around
There are many local restaurants, bars and supermarkets about 15 minutes walking distance as well as the train to Berkeley (7 minute ride) and San Francisco (35 min). The pacific ocean is a 45 minutes drive, Napa Valley- about 1 hour.

I currently live alone in my house that was home to so many people: my two children- now grown, my nephew, my foster baby, a house- mate and many short term renters, home exchangers, extended family members, friends and friends of friends.
I work as a psychotherapist working remotely for parts of the year. I am 52 years old, I travel alone, sometimes with my long distance partner and/or my adults children. I enjoy taking massage and improv theater classes in different parts of the world!
