General Overview
Our home is surrounded by native bushland with walking tracks through stunning Northland old-growth forest. Situated in a sunny spot with generous decks overlooking expansive fields. Our orchard, greenhouse, & garden beds provide a variety of nutritious produce almost year-round. We enjoy prolific birdsong & the only other sounds to be heard are natural.
The Space
Our home has two generously sized bedrooms. We have a thoughtfully designed modern kitchen with a large oven, a six-burner gas cooktop and a spacious lounge/ dining area. Our wood-burning fireplace keeps the house nice & warm during the winter months with plenty of firewood for that, as well as the outside brazier & wood-burning alpine spa. The decks are expansive & great for entertaining.
Guest Access
One bedroom is situated on the ground level with separate bathroom which provides easy access. The master bedroom is situated upstairs. Both bedrooms are comfortable & spacious.
Notes
We have 3 chickens who have their own enclosure. They require feeding once a day, or every other day, unless you'd rather we have our neighbours do this. They are good layers; you can expect 3 eggs a day during the summer months.
