General Overview

Our home is perfectly located just above downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. St. John’s is a vibrant city bustling with dynamic art, theatre, and music scenes. With so many fantastic restaurants, it’s also a unique destination for foodies! Our island, located at the far east of North America, in the Atlantic Ocean, is a nature lovers dream. The Space

We have 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and 3 full bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuites. Our home is eclectic, relaxed, creative, and artsy - we love anything quirky, vintage, and antique. We have a back deck and a large backyard, which is a little wild, but grows beautiful rhubarb and garlic!

Guest Access

Our house is 2 stories. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the second floor. Laundry is in the basement.

Notes

Let me know if there’s anything you might need and not want to pack - I may have it! (Baby items, noise machine, yoga mat etc.) If renting a car, I recommend doing so as soon as possible, particularly in the summer season. Turo is also an option. There are some tour bus companies, taxis, uber, hop on hop off (summer) and city buses if you want to be car free, but a car will give you the freedom to explore the city, Avalon peninsula, and more of the island :) You can choose to clean yourself before departure, or if you prefer, I can arrange a cleaner (she charges $100.)

Neighbourhood

Our home is centrally located in the city, close to everything. We are just above downtown, on a quiet residential street. There are 2 grocery stores and a liquor store around the corner, and a couple of fantastic bakeries about a 10 minute walk away. There are great restaurants nearby as well, and it’s only a 10 -15 minute stroll down the hill to all wonderful shopping, dining, and entertainment options of our beautiful downtown.

Our house is a 15 minute drive from the airport.
