The charm of staying in a converted 1890s Victorian never gets old. I love the high ceilings and walls full of art in my home. Friends who've stayed here exclaim at how large it feels for a studio. They've described it as "a retreat," "an oasis," and "a sanctuary." Being at the back of the building and right by the backyard does make it feel almost like an exclusive oasis. The trumpet flowers right outside my door always smell vibrant. When I am here, I feel calm, energized, and inspired. My studio apartment includes high ceilings, marble-tiled floors, and the original kitchen which is a chef's dream, with beautiful wood cabinets, a gas range and oven, dishwasher, and appliances and spices on-hand. The California King bedroom includes a semi-firm Purple Mattress and bamboo sheets. The bathroom includes a full tub and shower, and plenty of counter space. The whole place is filled with colorful art and vibrant houseplants.
