General Overview

I love how peaceful and cozy our home feels—it's a warm, light-filled space that instantly puts me at ease. We’re just a 10-minute walk from the train station, which makes it super easy to explore Switzerland, but the neighborhood itself is calm and quiet. One of my favorite spots is the balcony, where I enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening with a view of the sky and rooftops. The layout is open and modern, perfect for relaxing or working from home. What makes it extra special, though, is our cat—she’s affectionate, playful, and loves having people around. She brings so much joy and personality to the space. Of course, if you’re not a cat person, we can arrange for her to stay elsewhere during your visit. It’s a simple but happy little home, full of love and good memories.

My partner and I are planning a short trip to London this winter and we’re looking for a kind sister open to a home exchange from 4th to 8th December. We’d love to offer our modern and cozy one-bedroom flat in Fribourg, Switzerland, just 10 minutes’ walk from the train station and 25 minutes from Bern. It has: 🛋️ A comfy living room with a big sofa 🍳 A fully equipped open kitchen 🌿 A sunny little balcony with mountain views We also have a sweet 1-year-old cat who is playful and loves human company. If you're a cat lover, she’d love to stay with you during the swap.
