General Overview

The newly renovated architectural villa from 1960s is made for relaxing and big family dinners. Located just by the lake and astonishing views with the sunset over the water seen from almost all rooms in the villa. Just 30m from the villa is a small harbor were the daycruiser lies. You can get out on a SUP just from the garden, or take a run by the lake. Or just take a relaxing bath in the outdoor jazzuci fitting 5-6 persons. The location is perfect both for the ones looking for a luxurious retreat close to nature and for the family that loves to play :)

The Space

The main floor is a nice open space living area with a newly renovated kitchen and a big dining area. There’s two sofa or hangout areas and an open fire. These areas are connected to the outside by big sliding doors the make outside feel like inside. Just outside there’s a 90 square meter porch for barbecues and relaxing in the sofas or jacuzzi. There’s also a big garden with astonishing views over the lake. On the first floor there’s also two bedrooms , a hallway and a bathroom with shower. On the second floor there’s two or three bedrooms (one currently used as a playroom for kids/adults with Roman rings and wall bars, and toys) There’s also TV-room and the second bath with tub and shower and a washing room.

Since we have three kids there is a lot of toys and things to do. Both inside and outside. Outside there’s a trampoline, slides, swings and also a big inflatable waterline land with slides which is connected to hot water :) We have both a car and a boat that can be used by guests

Neighbourhood

Just outside the villa is lake Vänern (Europes biggest lake) and a local harbor from where you can take our daycruiser for 6 persons out on the archipelago, nice islands with a lot of beaches. If you don’t know how to use a boat you can take a ferry or reach a lot of the beaches in the nature preserve archipelago by car. But you don’t have to go out on the islands, there’s nice beaches close to the villa, that you can go walk to or why don’t borrow our SUPs and paddle there, tales a few minutes. The city centre is 15 min walk, there you can find nice restaurants by the lake and a classical old tourist centre. 15min walk at the other direction you find a nice golf course by the lake.

Train to city centre. A few minutes walk or a cab to the villa.
