General Overview

Our 1 bedroom flat is in an incredible position in Antibes France, directly across from the Mediterranean Sea and only 5 minutes in either direction, on foot, to the old town and to the beaches. We love coming here, especially in winter, when Antibes really feels like a Provencal village, with its daily covered market and cute boutiques and restaurants in the quaint squares and tiny lanes. The stone ramparts are beautiful and we can take relaxed walks along the coast to the Cap Antibes, long the haunt for sailors and yachts. At night, thanks to our large balcony overlooking the sweeping French Riviera bay, we can enjoy the twinkling lights of Nice, Monaco and Italy in the background. And the most magnificent winter view is the contrast of the snow covered Alps in the distance dropping into the Mediterranean Sea. An added bonus to all this is a rare, underground PARKING space!! (see measurements below), though Antibes is totally walkable and there are convenient trains to all the neighbouring towns (Cannes, Nice, Monaco and beyond).

The Space

This is a perfect bolthole for enjoying Antibes. The apartment measures approximately 50square meters, including a large, covered balcony with upholstered armchairs and an outdoor dining table for 4 people. For sleeping the group, there is separate master bedroom and convertible sofa in the living room. Fiber optic WIFI and a large, flat screen tv on the wall will deliver your creature (surfing & viewing) comforts. There is a separated WC next to the bathroom with shower/bathtub. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment, including a fridge/freezer, convection oven/microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer. Wall mounted heating/AC is individually managed by remote control.

4th floor situation in a secure apartment building, with apartment accessible by lift/elevator.

Neighbourhood

We are on the edge of the old town with a plethora of restaurants. The most popular choices within a 1 minute walk are an elegant Lebanese restaurant overlooking the sea and a delicious steakhouse with outdoor seating. A French bakery is at 5 minutes walk, along with mini-markets and an Italian deli. The daily Provençal covered market selling local produce from around the region is a 7 minute walk.

Getting to my home

AIR by Nice Airport ROAD by Autoroute, with exit at Antibes and 10 minutes drive to our coastal location. RAIL by Antibes Station, followed by a 10 minute walk or minuscule taxi ride! Very, very convenient and accessible location for all transport needs.

Getting Around

Walk to everything in Antibes: restaurants, theatre, cinemas, bars, supermarket, bakeries, cute shops, weekend fairs, port, beaches, hiking, lighthouse...everything you can imagine!
