General Overview

We love the peace and space our home offers. Our driveway winds through a wildflower meadow, surrounded by mature trees and nature all around. It’s a place where you wake up to birdsong and go to sleep under starry skies. Our home is modern, cosy, eco-friendly and full of natural light. We’ve created a space that’s both functional and welcoming, with everything a family needs – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfy couches and quiet corners to read or relax. There’s a strong sense of privacy here, but we’re still close to local villages, and just a short drive to Galway City, the Burren, and the Wild Atlantic Way. There is plenty of trout fishing nearby in Callagh lake, Kilconnell and the Shannon River.

The Space

There is an open-plan kitchen-living room-dining room. There is a sitting room with a pocket door. There is a den, office and bathroom also in the downstairs area. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom. The house is very well insulated and it is cosy and warm with a mechanical heat recovery system in place.
