General Overview

Sunlit, private and thoughtfully designed family home. Complete with beautiful pool and native gardens (and resident bird community). 5 minute walk to Werri Beach - 2 km long sandy beach enclosed each end by stunning headlands.

The Space

The house is solar passively designed - with eves, window louvers and concrete flooring to dissipate summer sun/heat and trap the warmth over winter. The kitchen, dining and lounge areas are themed around open planned living. Heating is via a wood fireplace.

Guest Access

There are 2 steps along the board walk leading from the road and carport into the house. The kitchen, dining room, lounge room, 2 bedrooms, study, bathroom, laundry and garden are all on the same level. There is a large bedroom and ensuite upstairs. There are 2 steps down to the pool once you walk through the pool gate.

Notes

In the case of a globe stay, if you'd prefer not to do an end-of-stay clean there is a $150 cleaning fee. Linen is included.

Gerringong (of which Werri Beach is part of) is a small coastal town set in a semi rural area of the south coast of NSW. Natural Attractions: * Coastal walk - Gerringong to Kiama walking track * Surfing - Werri Beach, Seven Mile Beach, Kiama breaks, * Ulladulla breaks (south 1.5 hrs), Bondi/Manly (north 2.5 hrs) * Snorkelling - All local reefs, Bushrangers Bay Marine Reserve * Diving - Jervis Bay Marine Reserve (south 1 hr), Sydney Harbour (north 2.5 hrs) * Climbing - Nowra (30 mins), Perpendicular (45 mins), Blue Mountains (west 3.5 hrs) * Skiing - Snowy Mountains (west 5.5 hrs) * Bushwalking - in all the above areas

Getting to my home

Werri Beach and Gerringong are just off the M1 (Princes Hwy) which links the southeast coast of Australia; from Sydney to Melbourne to Adelaide.

The airport is 1.5 hours north (2 hours during peak times).

Getting Around

There is public transport (train) from Sydney to Gerringong, takes 2.5-3 hrs.
