I used to travel a lot, especially to less touristy places like Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Iran. I also volunteered in Thailand, where I discovered the joy of combining travel with meaningful experiences. Iran remains my favourite country — mostly because of the incredible hospitality, warmth, and openness of the people I met there.
These days, I’m a single mum, and while I travel a bit differently now, I try to show my child that the world is a safe and beautiful place — full of people who are kind, generous, and worth trusting.
I believe in exchange — not just of homes, but of stories, experiences, and perspectives. For me, Home Exchange isn’t just about accommodation — it’s a way of connecting, even from afar.
