Our home is situated just across the road from the beach, in the beautiful coastal community of Arrawarra Headland. This picturesque area is renowned for its surf point break and a variety of pristine, sandy beaches, offering something for everyone, whether you're chasing waves or looking for a quiet spot to unwind.
Our home is close to mountain biking tracks, and the Safety Beach Golf Course is less than a 10 minute drive away.
The beachside town of Woolgoolga is an approximate 10 minute drive and features shopping, dining and cafes, along with the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple and First Sikh Temple.
The Space
Our property occupies the upper level of a modern two-storey home, offering a calm and elevated retreat. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is airy and inviting, with high ceilings and expansive windows to bring in the natural light.
In the living room and you'll find a large, comfortable sectional sofa and TV area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. From here, sliding glass doors lead out to a spacious, covered deck where you can relax and enjoy sweeping views of the headland and the bay. Watch the surf roll in, and if you're lucky, catch a glimpse of dolphins playing in the waves or whales breaching in the distance.
The well-appointed kitchen is designed for convenience and functionality, equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.
The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a generous ensuite bathroom. There is a 2nd toilet for your convenience.
Guest Access
Entry to the upstairs apartment is through a rear door and staircase.
The internal staircase consists of 20 steps.
Unfortunately our property is not wheelchair accessible.
Off-street tandem parking is available in our driveway.
Notes
Our home has a separate three-bedroom holiday let apartment on the ground floor level, which may sometimes be occupied by Airbnb/Stayz guests.
If you are interested in expanding the home exchange from our one-bedroom top apartment, to the entire 4 bedroom home, this may be able to be negotiated.
To access our top-floor apartment, you will need to enter the property via a door and internal stairs at the rear of the property.
Both living spaces are entirely separate.
We own the entire property.

Val
My husband and I are recent empty nesters and are looking forward to our travels, both at home and around the world.
We work part-time from home which gives us the flexibility to travel and explore new areas.
We are new to home exchanges but are looking forward to new opportunities and making new connections!
At the moment we're mostly seeking exchanges within Australia, focussing on the areas of Botany Bay in Sydney (our adult children are both attending Uni in Sydney); the Gold Coast; and Perth.
We're open to short last-minute plans that are located nearer to us.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
