General Overview

Our home is situated just across the road from the beach, in the beautiful coastal community of Arrawarra Headland. This picturesque area is renowned for its exceptional surf point break and a variety of pristine, sandy beaches.
We're located close to mountain biking tracks, and the Safety Beach Golf Course is less than a 10 minute drive away.
The quaint beachside town of Woolgoolga is an approximate 10 minute drive and features shopping, dining and cafes, along with the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple and First Sikh Temple.

The Space

This exchange opportunity offers our funky Guest Suite (on the ground level of our primary residence), just 60 meters from the beach.  The vibe is quirky mid-century modern.  The property features lovely ocean views and a large front verahdah for entertaining and relaxing.  
Our Guest Suite is spacious, with a bright comfortable living area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.  Both front bedrooms feature generous king-sized beds and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds. Ensuite between Bedrooms 2 & 3 has a good sized shower. Main bathroom features shower-in-tub, plus clothes washer.  The kitchen (while modest in size) has a full sized stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and espresso machine.
A fold down gate-leg table with 6 stacking chairs are available for inside dining.  The spacious covered verandah has a chaise lounge, comfy chairs, table and benches suitable for dining for 6, bistro table with 2 chairs, and a Weber BBQ.
Arrawarra Headland has a public boat ramp and day parking for boat trailers.
We rent the Suite as holiday let, which leaves up flexible to offer it as a home exchange opportunity. 
Please note: We live upstairs & access the upper level via a stairway behind the Guest Suite.  There may be some sound transfer.

Guest Access

You will have your own entry at the front of the property (4 steps up to the deck), and will have full use of the downstairs suite, plus exclusive use of the front downstairs verandah. (Please note: The driveway and backyard are for Owner use only.)
There are no shared internal spaces.
Street parking is available at the front of the property.

Notes

We will be exchanging our Guest Suite. We live upstairs and may be home during your stay.  We access our upper apartment via a stairway behind the Guest Suite.  There may be some sound transfer.
Both living spaces are entirely separate.
We own the entire property.

Getting to my home

The Pacific Highway travels up the coast near our suburb.
You can exit the freeway South of Woolgoolga, or North or Arrawarra.
It is easy access with sealed roads.

Nearest airport

Coffs Harbour Airport is approx 35 KM / 35 minute drive from our home.

Getting Around

Woolgoolga is approx 8 KM / 10 minute drive from our home.
It is a charming beachside town with grocery stores (Woolworths), liquor stores, restaurants, cafes and a variety of shopping.  Woolgoolga features many amenities including doctors surgeries, library, and banking.

My husband and I are recent empty nesters and are looking forward to our travels, both at home and around the world.
We work part-time from home which gives us the flexibility to travel and explore new areas.
We are new to home exchanges but are looking forward to new opportunities and making new connections!
At the moment we're mostly seeking exchanges within Australia, focussing on the areas of Botany Bay in Sydney (our adult children are both attending Uni in Sydney); the Gold Coast; and Perth.
