Our house was built in early 2014. It's a modern house with lots of space, brightness and cosiness.
The clay plaster used in parts and a decentralized ventilation system ensure a good indoor climate.
During construction, we paid attention to healthy and environmentally friendly materials (clay plaster, no polystyrene, photovoltaic on the roof, use of well water, etc.).
We have underfloor heating and bamboo parquet for warm feet.
On the ground floor is the living room with kitchen and dining area and a utility room with washing machine, dryer and toilet.
On the 1st floor there are 4 children's rooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet.
In the attic is the master bedroom and master bathroom. You have access to the roof terrace with lake view. There is also a dressing room and a study.
Under the roof there is a small library.
Our house is near by lake Markkleeberger See (250 meters). The large rooftop terrace offers a great view on the lake Markkleeberger See and the green surounding. You can make a lot of trips with the 6 bikes (2 bikes for adults, 2 for teens as well as 2 bikes for kids) to the lakes „Leipziger Neuseenland“ and forests. So there are 3 other lakes in low distance (lake „Störmthaler See“, „Cospudener See“ and „Zwenkauer See“). You can find beautiful landscape, cosy beaches but also activity like Canoe Park (only approx. 3 km from the house, also to use for untrained) or amusement park "Belantis".
Only some footsteps away from our house there are a variety of restaurants, e.g. an old german one, a Greek restaurant and 3 restaurants directly on the lake promenade (Italian and 2 German ones). At the lake promenade can be found also the beach, boat hire and the pier.
