Neighbourhood

The area itself is very safe and family friendly. There are lots of amenities and services within walking distance from the house.

Nearest airport

Knock Airport and Shannon Airport are the closest but Dublin is where you will likely be flying into.

Getting Around

Convenience store, laundrette, GP and dentist all within a 3 minute walk from the house. Walking distance from a large Lidl Supermarket It takes approximately 15/20 minutes to the city by bus/car. We have an excellent bus service and the bus stop is a 3 minute walk from the house. Buses leave to and from the City every 10 minutes (last bus 11.30pm). Ideal base for exploring Galway. A car is not necessary.

Hi, I’m Jennifer! I live in a quiet suburb just outside Galway City and work as a Primary School Teacher. I’d love to arrange exchanges during the school holidays. I’m a very quiet, respectful non-smoker and I promise to take care of your home as if it were my own. I have over 5 years experience of home exchanging on another platform. When travelling abroad, I really enjoy places with good public transport and that are close to shops, cafés, and local life, as I prefer not to rent a car. As my sister lives in the Gold Coast, Australia, I'm particularly interested in longer exchanges there during July and August.
