General Overview

We love our home for the tranquil privacy made special by the beautiful mature yard and the expansive lake views. Being there creates a deep sense of calm that is hard to describe. Indoors and out, everything is designed with simplicity and comfort. It is the kind of place you immediately relax and slow down. BUT... when you are done relaxing there are plenty of activities out your front door: fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and water sports. Bring your boat! There is a public launch on the lake. Summit Lake is quiet in the morning for kayaking or just sitting on the deck with your cup of coffee. After 11 am the lake comes alive with floaties, wake boats, surfers, and boarders. The 140 ft of private lakefront lets you view the activity from a distance if you don't want to 'dive in'. Rather be on land? Walk out the back door for hiking and mountain bike riding.

The Space

Every room has simple decor and beautiful lake views. The majority of the home is one level. Only the twin beds and TV are in the loft which is accessed by a spiral staircase.

Notes

Our home is more open than a normal house as the loft and primary bed are open to the views. There are curtains to close inside each room for privacy.

A car is required to get groceries. Stores are 20 minutes away in West Olympia or McCleary. There is no public transportation.
